Flames vs Pens (10AM PST), Pens are on a 2 game win streak and face a struggling Flames team that has dropped 4 of last 5, Pens have only given up 2 goals in last 60 minutes while Flames have averaged 3.6 goals per game over last 5, the trend says this is a 4-2 Pens victory, but I am a trend buster and for those early risers Flames win on the road while the total goes over, I like both bets.
Senators vs Jets (4:00 PM PST), Sens beat up on the Jets 5 -2 on Feb 9th on home ice, now the travel to Winnipeg who has a Cup team, another easy winner, back the Jets.
Canucks vs Sharks (7PM PST), Canucks are on the last leg of the brutal 3 games in 4 days against the California teams, they will be out of gas against a red hot San Jose team gearing up for playoffs, likely laying -200 but worth it take the Sharks at home.
Sunday:
Rangers vs Pens (9:30 AM PST), Doubt my guys get out of bed to play this game, but should any of you homers partake, if the Pens lose Saturday, play them back on Sunday, if they win then Saturday then No bet in this game. A martingale bet, simply they won’t lose 2 in a row at home.
Blues vs Wild (12 PM PST), Blues have been streaking but like most hockey teams they play better at home, the line will be close to pickem and the Minny crowd will make the difference, the Wild at home is the play.
NCAA Hoops
Saturday:
Maryland vs Michigan (9 AM PST),Wolverines are coming off a stunning loss to Penn State, they return home against a good Terps team where they should be favored by 6 points or more, lay the money line on them for a start to the day as they won’t lose.
Bucknell vs Holy Cross (9 AM PST), yes it’s an obscure game, but these are the games that can be very easy, Bucknell is playing tournament basketball right now and Holy Cross is just another stepping stone, likely a pickum game, lay the points or take the points as Bucknell will get it done.
Grand Cayon vs Chicago St. (12 PM PST), speaking of obscure, I bet most of you thought the Grand Canyon was just a place to go in Arizona, not the case, they are a pretty good basketball team that is facing a putrid Chi State that is losing by an average of 23 points per game, you may have a hard time even finding this game on most sports book boards, but if you do, lay the number as it will probably by 12-15 points.
Tennesse vs Kentucky (5PM PST), the game of the day as #1 faces #5, yes Wildcats are home, yes they are a good team, But the Vols are for real and they will be getting points in this game, road team shocks the home crowd, back the Vols.
UCLA vs Stanford (7PM PST), this is one of the worst Bruin teams to ever take the court, Stanford is nothing special, but they are home and that should make the difference in what should be a game where Stanford is favored by a few points, play the money line.
Sunday:
Northern Iowa vs Evansville ( 1 PM PST), Northern Iowa beat Evansville on their home court by 7 a few weeks ago, normally I would like the Aces to avenge that loss but Evansville is really struggling this year and I see them getting upset as a slight favorite in this, Northern Iowa will cover or win outright.
Villanova vs St. John’s (2 PM PST), Villanova has won 20 games, but not the team they were last year and they face a tough St. John’s team that ends the week as a home dog upset, Red Storm will get it done.
