St. Paddy’s Day weekend of March Madness!!

4 leaf cloverNot a weekend at Bernie’s, but one better a weekend in Vegas for all my brothers (and sisters) from other mothers.

Lots on the slate, NBA, NHL, and of course College Hoops in March Madness!!

Here is some help to my Ohio horse friends who likely need some “help”, don’t focus on picking winners, but finding value.

Pucks

Thursday:

Pens vs Canadiens (4PM PST), sometimes games are this easy, Pens lost an OT thriller on Wednesday night, they need to gear up for playoffs, Canadiens are wishing season was over. Pen’s likely laying -170 and worth it.

Friday:

Wild vs Golden Nights (7:30PM PDT), Conklin clan will be at Sunday game, but they can profit two days earlier with one of the best teams in hockey at home, Wild are a very good team so it should keep the line down, lay the wood for the homer Knights.

Saturday:

Bruins vs Lightning (4PM PDT), likely a match up of the conference finals, two very good teams, but when push comes to shove the best horse always wins, Tampa Bay is the play!

NBA

Thursday:

Cavs vs Trail Blazers (7PM PDT), Lebron goes to Portland to face a hot shooting team that plays great at home, so you get the Cavs at a 5 point underdog, take the points as they can win outright.

Sunday:

Rockets vs Pelicans (4 PM PST), you heard it here, the best team in the NBA is the Houston Rockets and I predict they will win the NBA title, that may or may not come true, but they will go to a gritty NO team and trounce them in their own house as a slight favorite, BEST BET of weekend, Money line Rockets all the way to the bank.

NCAA Hoops

Just going to give you the team to play with a quick summary below for Thursday & Friday

Thursday:

Penn (+14), simply put it’s a lot of points and although IVY league should be grossly overmatched, I think they keep it close

Houston (-4 or ML -190), the college Houston team is pretty good too, their conference is a lot tougher then advertised they beat a good Aztec team

Arizona (-8.5), huge mismatch in this one, the controversial Wildcats have a chance to win it all, 1st step is a blowout of Buffalo

Friday:

Kansas St. (pick), KSU has played some big games this year against a much more quality conference, they are the better team and will win.

Michigan St. (-14.5), my Buckeye buddies surely hate all Michigan teams, but why not prosper from them, this team needs a statement game after an exrly exit in Big 10 tourney, well rested and should win big.

New Mexico State (+5), Cinderella of this year’s tourney should win outright and you are getting points in this one….Clemson is very good, but calling the upset.

Saturday:

Texas Tech, expecting them to handle both SF Austin and the winner of the Florida/St. Bonnie game, recently got their best player back, could go far in tourney

Arizona, expect them to be playing a Kentucky team which should be pretty much a pick em, maybe Arizona favored by 2-3 points, don’t like them,. love them.

Good Luck, “The Donald”
